After my workout today, I had a thought:
Working out is a lot like learning how to live large on less. Perplexed? Let me explain.
When I first started my daily workouts, it was very hard to find the motivation. I didn’t look forward to going to the gym, and it was hard to get to really commit to a full routine. But slowly, that all changed. The more I did it, the more it became a habit, almost second nature. Then, surprise! - I found myself wanting to work out, and feeling very bummed if I had to miss any gym time.
Saving money is very much the same. If you’re not in the habit of doing it, I’m sure it will be hard to start. You’ll have to discpline yourself to get in the “money saving mindset” - and it may not come naturally. But trust me, the more often you practice frugal living, the more it will become second nature to you.
And with that thought, I’m going to get ready for a buy-one-get-one free dinner with the hubby.
Have a great weekend!
