*savings alert*

Hibachi

Our fav, restaurant.com, is having another sale. (In case you haven’t picked up on the trend, gift certificates start to go on sale about 10 days into every month, and the savings increase as the month continues.)

Now through April 13, you’ll get 60% off when you use the code “SEASON” at the checkout.

Anyone else feel like the site is becoming more and more popular? For two months in a row, the certificates I want to purchase are sold out before I can use any saving codes. But if that means that more of you are snagging up the great deals, I’m still a happy camper.

Enjoy your meals, but please, hold on the soda.  And lemonade.  And iced tea.  A drink will cost you an average of $2 at most restaurants (and that certainly doesn’t factor in any alcoholic beverages).  It sounds cheap - after all, what’s two bucks?  Not a lot . . . . but if you eat out 5 times a month, you’ll be saving at least $120 a year.

Takeaway: Saying no to soda seems like a small thing, but it all adds up.

Total Yearly Savings: An awesome $120.  That could buy you a fantastic Coach purse on eBay!!

Inside this magazine of mostly worthless coupons (including a special offer for a free Segway trial), there are some very worthwhile deals. In the past few months, my husband and I have saved hundreds of dollars using the [...]
